Our Discover Local Reefs experience is a private boat trip guided by an experienced ocean professional. It is designed for families, first-time snorkelers and people who enjoy taking their time in the water. Guests must be at least 6 years old and able to swim.
Possible sites include Palmilla Bay, with shallow granite boulders and sandy patches, and Chileno Bay, a sheltered destination known for reef fish and occasional eagle rays. When suitable, we can consider Gavilanes, Zacatitos Rocky Ridge or the seasonal Zacatitos Wreck. Your exact location is selected according to swell, wind, visibility and your experience.
A private boat and captain, your guide, snorkeling gear, safety briefing, refreshments and snacks, and GoPro photos or clips from your trip. We can discuss wetsuit sizing ahead of time, and adapt the pace and route for your group.
You may see colorful reef fish, rays or sea turtles, but wildlife is never guaranteed. We approach every site with safety and respect for the animals and their habitat in mind.
Our main departure point is Marina Puerto Los Cabos in San José del Cabo. Departure from Cabo San Lucas may be possible on request for selected trips, subject to the planned experience and availability. We confirm the departure port and exact meeting point before booking.
